Then wait until the block expands and slowly disturb it till the peat loosens. This is called the Reconstitution of cocopeat. After this, the product will be ready for you to use. In general, cocopeat does not contain appreciable nutrient value so it needs to be mixed with normal soil/potting mix/compost to use for growing plants.
