Refund and Return Policy

At Mitti Mall, we take great pride in the quality of our organic soil and compost. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy below regarding returns, replacements, and refunds.

1. Reporting Period

To be eligible for a return or refund, any issues with your order (damage, mismatch, or quality concerns) must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Mandatory Evidence: For all claims, customers are required to provide clear photos and an unboxing video (for bagged products) or a video of the shipment upon arrival (for bulk orders). This is essential for our quality control and to process your claim quickly.

2. Bagged Products (Retail)

  • Eligibility: Sealed bags of potting mix, compost, or fertilizers are eligible for return within 7 days of delivery if they are unopened and in their original packaging.

  • Mismatched/Damaged Items: If we sent the wrong product or the bags arrived torn, we will provide a free replacement or a full refund at no extra cost to you.

  • Change of Mind: If you wish to return a product for reasons other than damage, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.

3. Bulk and Loose Soil (Wholesale)

Due to the nature of loose soil and the high cost of heavy-vehicle logistics, the following rules apply:

  • Pre-Unloading Inspection: For bulk truckload/tractor deliveries, the buyer must inspect the soil before it is unloaded. If the quality does not match the sample or description, you may refuse the shipment at the point of delivery for a full refund.

  • Post-Unloading: Once bulk soil has been tipped or unloaded at your site, it is non-returnable and non-refundable, as it becomes contaminated by the ground and cannot be resold.

  • Volume Disputes: Any disputes regarding the delivered volume must be raised with the driver immediately upon arrival and before unloading begins.

4. Cancellations

  • Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order at any time before it leaves our facility. A 3% payment gateway fee will be deducted from the refund to cover transaction processing costs.

  • After Dispatch: If an order is cancelled while in transit, the customer will be liable for both the forward and return shipping charges, which will be deducted from the final refund.

5. Refund Process

  • Inspection: Once a returned item is received at our Sundargarh facility and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 working days and credited back to your original method of payment.

  • Wholesale GST Credit Notes: For GST-registered businesses, a formal Credit Note will be issued in accordance with GST laws to adjust the tax liability for any returned goods.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-blended soil mixes prepared specifically for a client's requirements.

  • Products purchased during "Clearance" or "Flash Sales."

  • Loose soil that has already been unloaded or spread.
