Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Mitti Mall (M/S SABA KARIM), we specialize in delivering high-quality organic soil and compost throughout the Odisha region. Because our products are heavy and vary in volume, we have specific procedures to ensure a smooth delivery process.
1. Shipping Methods
We offer two primary types of delivery based on your order size:
Standard Parcel Delivery: For small-to-medium bagged products (e.g., 5kg, 10kg, or 25kg bags). These are typically delivered via standard commercial couriers.
Bulk Freight Delivery: For loose soil or large-volume orders (Metric Tons). These are delivered using our dedicated fleet of tractors, trucks, or heavy vehicles.
2. Delivery Zones and Costs
Local Delivery (Sundargarh): We offer flat-rate or discounted delivery for orders within a [Insert Radius, e.g., 20km] radius of our Sundargarh facility.
State-wide Delivery (Odisha): Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the order and the distance from our distribution center.
Calculated Rates: Shipping costs will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
3. Site Accessibility (Critical for Bulk Orders)
For bulk truckload deliveries, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible to heavy vehicles.
Road Access: The road must be wide enough for a truck/tractor and free of low-hanging wires or weight-restricted bridges.
Unloading Point: Our drivers will unload soil at the nearest safe point to your site. If a truck gets stuck due to poor ground conditions or restricted access, any recovery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
4. Delivery Timeline
Bagged Products: Typically dispatched within 2-3 business days. Estimated delivery is 5-7 business days.
Bulk Soil: Delivery dates are scheduled individually. We aim to deliver within 3-5 business days of order confirmation, depending on weather conditions.
Weather Clause: Since wet soil is significantly heavier and more difficult to transport, we may postpone deliveries during heavy rain to ensure you receive the correct dry-weight volume and to protect your property from heavy vehicle damage.
5. Unloading and Labor
Bulk Soil: Unless specifically agreed upon in writing, our bulk delivery service includes "dump-off" only. The customer is responsible for providing labor or machinery to move or spread the soil once it has been tipped at the delivery site.
Bagged Products: Couriers will deliver to your doorstep or designated drop-off point.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation via SMS or Email with tracking details (for parcel delivery) or the contact information of your dedicated driver (for bulk freight).
7. Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival.
